What a wonderful find, a genuine family owner Italian just round the corner from our hotel! We chose gnocchi as a starter; carbonara and chicken in a mushroom, white wine and cream sauce for mains; homemade tiramisu and crem caramel for dessert. Every bite was delicious! The option to choose a main as a starter was a lovely option. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. There was very little wait for our food to arrive and every dish was an ideal sized portion of authentic Italy. We ended our meal with Italian coffee which was rich and smooth, and a pot of English Breakfast tea served in a delightful pot for one that poured perfectly. I would highly recommend a visit.

Old fashioned restaurant with outdoor seating on a quiet street. Very well priced with long serving waiters. A great soup and pasta, followed by a poor main course (cooked too early, as we ate slowly). Will definitely return .

Tasty pizza with dine in and take away options. Not in standard shape, so I recommend 1 pizza per person. Friendly staff and short waiting time. Good value for money ????Worth booking a table, as the place was busy Saturday evening.

Staff is lovely, there’s a bona fide Italian feel to the place. Very friendly ambiance with open windows and lovely terrace for summery days. Food however was a bit of a let down. Pizza was below average, lots of cheese but not generous at all with the toppings and garnish. Pasta would be a better shout, tho not mind blowing still. I would go back for the atmosphere mostly.

The service in the restaurant was, to put it positively, very expeditious. The food was almost thrown in front of me. No sooner was the plate empty than it disappeared and a second later the dessert menu appeared in front of me. I ordered the breaded schnitzel with spaghetti. I am one hundred percent sure that the schnitzel was not freshly prepared for me and it was just reheated. If I remember correctly, the crust of a breaded schnitzel should be crispy, at least a little crunchy. My piece of meat was just slabby. The spaghetti was ok. For almost £18 (only the meal without the drinks), I would have expected a little more. It could not have been due to the restaurant being busy. There were not many guests.
