The initial quote was done by video call, which was a friendly and personal introduction to EM and gave me reassurance that everything in the quote was accurate and accounted for, and that there would be no surprises. On move day, the team turned up on time and were friendly, wonderfully swift and efficient. My move turned into an awful farce because of late completion on my sale, which resulted in the van waiting outside my new flat for 3 hours, then having to return 100 miles from the south coast to London and go into storage. The team in the van were amazingly patient and understanding, and there was constant communication from the head office during this time. The van returned the next morning to unload, again, quickly and professionally. The initial quotes were very competitive, and the extra costs incurred for the delays, extra mileage and overnight storage were reasonable. I was very happy that I chose EM, and even though after all that stress I never want to move again, I would recommend them without any reservation to anyone who needs a removal.
Right from the start the service was seamless. Edward did a great video call to assess the scope and turned around a proposal speedily. All the parking permits were efficiently handled, and the team over the two days were exceptional: calm, professional, engaging and very efficient. Not a single item was damaged. Quote based on video survey - easily done. Cheery fellows arrived early and nothing was too much trouble from disassembling couches & beds to carefully packing a home’s contents into a storage unit.
