The staff are fantastic which is the only reason I am giving 3 stars, they were welcoming and always happy to help wherever possible. Especially Jessie and Taka, who checked on us regularly as the heat was so intense. I would give them both 5 stars and a raise. Unfortunately the heatwave made staying in the room unbearable and was the case for everyone else staying there including the staff. The current owner has decided that spending money on an ac system is not worth the price and would rather have people unable to get a good nights rest or in the worse case get heatstroke, it is very clear they have no consideration for those staying or working there. If you want to stay somewhere with friendly staff definitely book. If you want to spend your money on a hotel that can provide adequate conditions for your stay look elsewhere.
As close to "what you pay is what you get" as it comes. The check-in staff were super helpful & arranged for an early check-in for me, the room was basic - double bed, fan & a nice shower, you could see the room was dated & your view was an aircon unit on the opposite room, but again you can't fuss over that too much at all. The WiFi was $5 for 24 hours which really isn't a bad deal - overall, I felt that for $80/night, it made perfect sense!
This is a convenient hotel in a good location close to tube, Chelsea footbal grounds and some of London's best attractions (museums, art galleries, iconic King's Road etc). Although it does not have much curb appeal and is on a busy road, the room we had was clean with what looks like new-ish carpet and bathroom with walk in shower. We love the tea/coffee making facilities too. Check in was quick and easy and staff very helpful.
The hotel is clean and simple. That's quite enough for one or two days stay. But if you stay longer, room is cleaned once in a week.(terrible) Superior rooms are quite good. Their internet is awfull. We can not connect despite we paid for a week internet. Otherwise location is good, not so far to tube station. Result; if you stay for one or two days the hotel is OK.
